Beaver Cottages, dog friendly self catering accommodation in North Cornwall, is the perfect location to explore Tintagel and the surrounding area including Bude, Port Isaac, Boscastle, Padstow and Bodmin Moor, all only a short drive away. Ideal for a short weekend or midweek break, family holiday, beach and surfing time, or just time away to relax and enjoy the fantastic scenery.
Tintagel is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the cliffs are designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The South West Coast Path, Tintagel castle with the stunning bridge, and the dog friendly Trebarwith Strand beach are all walkable from the cottages via a footpath from the rear of the property over a stile. The three local beaches are dog friendly all year so no excuse not to bring your furry friends.

The South Coast with the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Charlestown and Mevagissey are all less than an hour's drive away, and further afield are St Ives, Penzance, the Lizard, Lands End and Falmouth.
The property has been fully renovated by ourselves and offers two bedroom self catering accommodation in the Lodge, or one bedroom accommodation in the Smithy. Both cottages have comfy sofabeds in their lounges. Each cottage has its own enclosed garden and off road parking, and no charge for dogs.

Locally there are seven dog friendly pubs, plus cafes, a chip shop, a couple of small supermarkets and gift shops. Tintagel now has EV charging points in one of the car parks. Directly outside the cottages is a bus stop with buses direct to Bude via Boscastle and Crackington, and the other way to Wadebridge and Port Isaac.
Also available for SWCP walkers and glampers is our gorgeous shepherd's hut - Cabin Beaver, sleeping two people. This offers accommodation for one night plus stays. The hut can also be used as an extra bedroom for one of the holiday cottages at an additional cost.
